Broccoli, Calabrese
Great heirloom from Italy, came to the U.S. in the 1880’s. I never liked broccoli from the supermarket, to me it had no taste. Growing a real heirloom plant in the garden is a huge difference. The plant produces until frost. After you cut the central head, side shoots will continue to grow to be harvested. Plant seeds 1/4” deep, germination is about 10 days, plants need partial sun. Approx 300 seeds per packet.
