Heirloom variety, closely related to jalapeno and bell peppers. It is a staple in Mexican and Southwest American cooking. The peppers grow 2” to 5” long and are thin. Most often used in a processed form ground up as powders or in hot sauce. We like them fresh in chili or with pizza. The mature to a beautiful bright red color. 70 days to mature crop.
